Job summary

Northeastern Nevada Regional Hospital in Elko, NV is seeking an experienced RN House Supervisor. You will oversee daily staffing, provide leadership to nursing staff, and ensure high-quality patient care across units.

The role requires a Nevada RN license, an Associate's degree, and certifications (BCLS, ACLS, PALS, plus NRP and CNOR where applicable). A BSN is preferred and prior RN experience is valued as part of joining a dedicated team.

Qualifications

• Requires current state RN license.
• Associate's degree from an accredited nursing school.
• Certifications: BCLS, ACLS, PALS within specified timelines; NRP, CNOR where applicable.
• One year of prior RN experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Determines, coordinates and supervises daily staffing assignments and roles.
• Provides direction, orientation, training, coaching, and mentoring to staff; participates in evaluations and disciplinary actions.
• Assesses and ensures quality of services delivered and facilitates staff development.
• Ensures staff compliance with policies, procedures, and protocols.
• Performs staff duties as needed to meet service levels.
• Leads handling and resolution of complex issues and complaints.
• Manages people using HR/performance processes to align performance with results.
