• Supervise and coordinate all house-wide functions during shift.
• Decide patient care and staff management per policies.
• Monitor and deliver nursing care per policies to meet needs.
• Prioritize clinical rounds and assign staff to units.
• Adjust staffing including PRN and agency personnel.
• Serve as authority in absence of nursing management.
• Direct staff in emergencies and coordinate care.
• Support benchmarks, accreditations, and standards compliance.
• Manage admissions and discharges for throughput and care quality.
• Coordinate interdisciplinary care and health issues for staff.
• Act as HR health resource and participate in disaster readiness.
• Respond to emergencies and coordinate with EMS as needed.
