Job summary

Phoenix Children's Hospital is seeking an experienced Nursing Leader for a full-time House Supervisor role at our East Valley Campus. The incumbent will lead nursing staff across shifts, focusing on patient throughput and enterprise-wide coordination in collaboration with the Connected Care center.

Required is a minimum of 3 years RN experience with leadership, an Arizona license, PALS, and BLS; a clinical nursing certification must be obtained within 1 year of hire.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years RN experience with leadership experience highly preferred.
• Arizona RN license required.
• PALS and BLS at least by American Heart Association.
• Must obtain a valid nursing certification in a clinical nursing expertise within 1 year of hire.

Responsibilities

• Acts as resource and mentor to Clinical Supervisors.
• Oversees staffing, performance reviews and ongoing education of supplemental staff.
• Allocates resources and coordinates staffing to meet unit productivity targets.
• Responds to internal and external disaster codes and ensures appropriate operational oversight.
