Job summary

Phoenix Children's in Gilbert seeks a House Supervisor for the East Valley Campus. This full-time role covers day and night shifts (3-12 hour shifts with rotating weekends) and focuses on patient throughput, staffing decisions, and hospital-wide coordination to maintain safe, high-quality care.

Candidates should have at least 3 years of RN experience with leadership, a valid Arizona RN license, PALS and BLS, and be prepared to obtain a clinical nursing certification within 1 year of hire;

Qualifications

• Active RN license in Arizona.
• At least 3 years RN experience with leadership preferred.
• PALS and BLS (AHA) required.
• Within 1 year of hire obtain nursing certification in a clinical specialty.

Responsibilities

• Acts as resource and mentor to Clinical Supervisors.
• Provides clinical expertise as needed.
• Interprets policies and regulatory standards.
• Supports staffing decisions to meet unit productivity targets.
• Oversees patient flow and throughput across the campus and enterprise.
• Responds to disaster codes and IMAT situations.
• Provides administrative decision support and escalation as needed.
