Job summary

Northern California Behavioral Health System is seeking a House Supervisor to provide clinical leadership and ensure smooth hospital operations on a NOC shift. The role drives patient flow, staffing oversight, and high-quality care across nursing, clinical, and operational teams.

You will oversee admissions, multidisciplinary plans, and incident reporting while coordinating with the CNO and Nurse Manager to maintain staffing levels and patient safety.

Qualifications

• Current CA RN license.
• Current BLS certification.
• Knowledge of psychiatric diagnosis and leadership responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Oversee admissions and discharges with A&R.
• Monitor unit operations and review MDTPs and logs.
• Audit restraint interventions on shift.
• Manage supply inventories and initiate replenishments.
• Notify AOC of urgent events and coordinate with leadership.
• Prepare shift reports and brief oncoming staff.
• Lead staff assignments to control overtime and maintain census/acuity staffing.
• Provide staff feedback and support orientation and ongoing education.
