Job summary

Lancaster Behavioral Health Hospital (LBHH) is seeking an RN House Supervisor to oversee nursing operations on our inpatient psychiatric units in Lancaster, PA. You will ensure safe staffing, coordinate float staff, and collaborate with Nurse Managers to maintain high-quality patient care.

Qualified candidates will hold a PA RN license, have 3–5 years of management experience in behavioral health, and possess CPR certification.

Qualifications

• PA RN license is required.
• 3–5 years of management experience preferred.
• CPR certification required at hire.
• Psychiatric/behavioral health nursing experience is helpful but not required.

Responsibilities

• Receives call-ins, assigns float pool staff and adjusts schedules to meet staffing levels.
• Collaborates with Nurse Managers/Charge Nurses to maintain adequate staffing for current and upcoming shifts.
• Collaborates with Access Intake Center to place patients based on diagnosis, acuity, and care needs.
• Communicates information effectively within and between departments.
• Acts as a resource to nursing units and serves as liaison to address issues.
• Provides accurate written/verbal reports to Nurse Managers, Risk Manager, or Quality Improvement Director.
