Job summary

Ochsner Health in Louisiana is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to provide administrative/clinical support and deliver patient care using the nursing process. You will monitor quality care and ensure efficient use of resources while rounding and addressing issues as they arise.

The role requires an RN diploma, 3 years acute care experience, and an active RN license with BLS; ACLS/CCRN are preferred. You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team in a fast-paced hospital environment.

Qualifications

• RN diploma required.
• Associate or BSN preferred.

Responsibilities

• Serves as a resource to the nursing staff in patient care.
• Rounds frequently to identify issues needing administrative action and communicate forward.
• Supervises and leads staff effectively.
• Provides care based on physical, psycho/social, educational, safety criteria appropriate to patient ages.
• Adapts communication style to patient population and requests permissions.
• Performs other related duties as required.
