Job summary

Ochsner Health in New Orleans is seeking an experienced RN to provide leadership in patient care using the nursing process within regulatory standards. You will collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to plan, deliver, and evaluate care, ensuring safety and quality outcomes.

The role requires a valid RN license in Louisiana, BLS, and ACLS/PALS within specified timeframes, with preference for a BSN and clinical specialty certification.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Bachelor’s degree in nursing preferred.
• Experience: none mandatory.
• Current RN license in the state of practice.
• Current BLS certification.
• CPI certification within 30 days of hire.
• ACLS certification within 90 days of hire.
• PALS certification within 90 days of hire.
• Certified in a clinical specialty area preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assesses learning needs and implements teaching strategies for diverse patients, families, and interdisciplinary teams.
