Job summary

Gretna Health & Rehabilitation Center in Gretna, VA is seeking an RN House Supervisor for our 90-bed skilled nursing and rehabilitation center.

The RN House Supervisor on 2nd shift oversees the nursing department in the DON’s absence, coordinates admissions, rounds, and staffing, and supervises evening/night shift staff to ensure quality patient care and proper documentation.

Qualifications

• Must be a licensed RN.
• Minimum 3 years of nursing experience.
• Experience in acute care setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee nursing department in DON’s absence.
• Review staffing at shift change and assign/replace staff.
• Complete patient care rounds.
• Coordinate admissions, transfers and discharges and ensure documentation.
• Assist in orientation of evening and night shift staff.
• Supervise and evaluate evening and night shift staff.

Nursing is what we do! Gretna Health & Rehabilitation Center is currently seeking an RN House Supervisor for our 90 bed skilled nursing and rehabilitation center in Gretna.

The RN House Supervisor 2nd Shift oversees the nursing department in the DON’s absence. The House Supervisor reviews staffing at the change of a shift and assigns and replaces staff to meet patient care needs. Completes patient care rounds. Coordinates admissions, transfers and /or discharges and ensures appropriate documentation. Assists in orientation of evening and night shift employees. Supervises and evaluates evening and night shift employees.

Qualified candidates will be a licensed RN and have a minimum of 3 years of experience as a nurse as well as experience in acute setting.
