Elwyn is seeking a Registered Nurse House Manager to lead PM shift in a 962 residence, ensuring nursing care aligns with directives from the Program Administrator and mandated reporting obligations are followed. The role emphasizes supervision, documentation, and collaboration with families and hospitals to maintain a safe, therapeutic home environment.

Requirements include active California RN licensure, 1+ year residential and 1+ year medical-surgical experience, BLS, DOJ/FBI clearances, and

Qualifications

• One year experience in a residential setting for persons with developmental disabilities preferred; minimum one year recent medical-surgical experience required.
• Active California RN license in good standing.
• DOJ and FBI fingerprint and criminal clearance required.
• Health screening including TB test within one year of hire.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Must possess a valid driver's license with at least two years driving experience in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Ensures adherence to Elwyn California Policies and Procedures and compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Maintains a safe, sanitary and therapeutic environment for all individuals served.
• Ensures Health Care Plan is implemented.
• Provides adequate staff supervision.
• Documents and reports all events as required by DDS and Regional Center.
• Trains staff on clinical aspects of healthcare.
• Ensures proper equipment and supplies are maintained.
• Ensures proper documentation is maintained.
• Respects confidentiality of residential records and discusses information discreetly.
• Maintains communication with Program Administrator, families, hospitals, etc.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
