Summary of Job Duties: Schedule: Full-time, 7A-7P or 7P-7A or alternate 12-hour shifts, must work three shifts during the week plus rotate weekends. Available shifts based on unit needs and to be discussed with unit hiring manager.
This requisition will be used to fill multiple positions.
Registered Nurse delivers nursing care for patients within the limits of the Nurse Practice Act of the State of Arkansas and adheres to institutional policies, procedures, and standards. Responsibilities include assessing, developing, implementing, and evaluating patient care plans, administering medication, providing patient education, and supporting team members.
The RN provides direct patient care in the Hospital Medicine Unit (H6), a 30-bed medical/surgical unit caring for acutely ill patients, palliative, and hospice patients with various conditions. Must be fitted for PPE including N95 masks, PAPR, or CAPR.
Physical activities involve standing, walking, talking, handling objects, and occasional bending, crouching, or reaching. Lifting up to 25 lbs and pushing over 100 lbs may be required.
Salary is commensurate with education and experience. Required documents include license or certification, three professional references, and resume. Optional document: proof of veteran status.
