Job summary

Henry Ford Health in Detroit is seeking an experienced RN for a full-time days role. You will coordinate and deliver patient care using the nursing process, delegating and supervising to ensure teaching and high-quality outcomes.

The ideal candidate will have a BSN (preferred), Michigan RN licensure, and at least two years of experience, with strong communication. Afternoon availability for contingent staffing is a plus.

Qualifications

• BSN preferred.
• Graduation from an accredited school of nursing.
• Minimum of two years of RN experience.
• Current licensure by the Michigan State Board of Nursing; BCLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Provides leadership in coordination and delivery of quality compassionate patient care.
• Utilizes the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation to provide, delegate, supervise and document care and teaching of patients and family.
• Effectively communicates pertinent patient/family information to health care team.
• Participates in finding solutions for variances from patient goals and ensures implementation of solutions.
• Works with contingent staff who have afternoon availability.
