Job summary

Cardiovascular Institute of the South in Louisiana is seeking a Registered Nurse to deliver compassionate, holistic cardiology care under physician guidance. You will assess, educate, treat, and coordinate care for cardiology patients, ensuring safe and evidence-based practices.

Responsibilities include stress testing, EKG monitoring, medication administration, and collaboration during rounds to optimize outcomes.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing with current RN licensure.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications (required).
• Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate within a multidisciplinary team.
• Preferred: advanced certification in cardiology/cardiovascular nursing and two years of critical care experience.
