Job summary

UnitedHealth Group, including Deaconess Hospice (a part of LHC Group), is seeking a Patient Care Manager - Hospice to support executive leadership in delivering safe, compliant hospice care. This full-time role is based in Natchez, MS and includes a $7,500 sign-on bonus and a competitive benefits package.

The role focuses on ensuring regulatory compliance, guiding the care team, addressing quality issues, and staff education.

Qualifications

• Current unrestricted RN licensure in state of practice.
• 1+ years of clinical experience
• Current CPR certification requirements
• Current driver's license, vehicle insurance, and access to a dependable vehicle or public transportation
• Ability to function in any home situation regardless of age, race, creed, color, sex, disability, or financial condition of the client

Responsibilities

• Compliance with hospice policies and procedures and with local, state, and federal regulatory requirements governing the practice of the assigned team
• Directs and promotes quality of care and safety of patients and staff
• Engages in problem resolution and complaint investigation
• Provides in-services to staff to promote health and safety and address educational needs
