Salary: $40 - 50 / per hour

Maxim Healthcare is hiring for a Registered Nurse to work night shifts with Pediatric patients in their own homes.

Responsibilities:

1. Utilize the nursing process to plan, implement, and evaluate patient/client care and/or services provided to clients receiving contracted services, as required.
2. Initiate the plan of care when directed and request revisions from prescribers as patient status and needs change.
3. Incorporate therapeutic, preventive, and rehabilitative nursing actions based on patient diagnosis and established goals.
4. Intervene as applicable in response to changes in patient/client condition and report such changes to the appropriate physician or supervisor.
5. Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, monitor, and document the effectiveness of interventions.
6. Review the plan of care and program protocols, and identify areas for healthcare teaching/education, care coordination, goal setting, and discharge planning, as applicable.

Requirements:

1. Current Registered Nurse (RN) License for the state in which the nurse practices.
2. Current Health Certificate (per facility Registered Nurse (RN) contract or state regulation).
3. Current PPD or Chest X-Ray.
4. Current BLS card.
5. One year of prior Registered Nurse (RN) experience preferred.
