Job description

Maxim Healthcare is hiring in Eugene for a Registered Nurse to work with a pediatric patient for full-time night shifts. This position offers 50 hours per week, with shifts from 9 pm to 7 am, scheduled any night of the week with flexibility for the family. The patient has a G-tube, trach, and ventilator.

Pay starts at $50 an hour.

Responsibilities:

• Utilize the nursing process to plan, implement, and evaluate patient care and services provided to clients receiving contracted services, as required.
• Initiate the plan of care as directed, requesting revisions from prescribers as patient needs change.
• Incorporate therapeutic, preventive, and rehabilitative nursing actions based on diagnosis and goals.
• Respond to changes in patient condition and report to physicians or supervisors.
• Administer medications and treatments, monitor effectiveness, and document outcomes.
• Review care plans and protocols to identify education, care coordination, and discharge planning needs.

Requirements:

• Current RN license for the state of practice.
• Current health certificate (per facility or state regulations).
• Current PPD or Chest X-Ray.
• Current BLS certification.
• One year of RN experience preferred.
