Maxim Healthcare is hiring in Milwaukie for a Registered Nurse to work with pediatric patients in their home. The schedule includes 7am - 5pm or 7am - 7pm on Monday, Tuesday, and either Friday or Saturday. The role involves transporting the patient to school at least once a week. The patient is very active, so nurses should expect to walk, run, and frequently get up and down from the ground.

Responsibilities:

• Utilize the nursing process to plan, implement, and evaluate patient care and services.
• Initiate the plan of care and request revisions as needed based on patient status.
• Incorporate therapeutic, preventive, and rehabilitative nursing actions based on diagnosis and goals.
• Respond to changes in patient condition and report to the physician or supervisor.

• Review care plans and protocols to identify education, care coordination, and discharge planning needs.

Requirements:

• Current RN license for the state of practice.

• Current PPD or Chest X-Ray.
