Salary: $55 / per hour

Maxim Healthcare in Westbury is hiring a Registered Nurse to work with Pediatric and/or Adult patients in their own homes.

Details: Vent, Trach patient, 12-hour day and night shifts

Responsibilities:

• Utilize the nursing process to plan, implement, and evaluate patient care and services provided to clients receiving contracted services, as required.
• Initiate the plan of care when directed and request revisions from the prescriber as patient needs change.
• Incorporate therapeutic, preventive, and rehabilitative nursing actions based on patient diagnosis and goals.
• Respond to changes in patient condition and report to the physician or supervisor.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed; monitor and document effectiveness.
• Review care plans and protocols, identify education needs, care coordination, and discharge planning opportunities.

Requirements:

• Current RN license for the practicing state.
• Current Health Certificate (per facility or state regulation).
• Current PPD or Chest X-Ray.
• Current BLS certification.
• One year of RN experience preferred.
