Job Title: Registered Nurse

Salary: $55 per hour

Maxim Healthcare in Westbury is hiring a Registered Nurse to work with Pediatric and/or Adult patients in their own homes.

Details: Vent, Trach patient, 12-hour day and night shifts

Responsibilities:

• Utilize the nursing process to plan, implement, and evaluate patient care and services for clients receiving contracted care.
• Initiate and revise the plan of care as directed, based on patient needs and physician input.
• Apply therapeutic, preventive, and rehabilitative nursing actions based on diagnosis and goals.
• Respond to changes in patient condition and report to appropriate medical personnel.
• Administer medications and treatments, monitor effectiveness, and document outcomes.
• Review care plans and protocols to identify educational, care coordination, and discharge planning needs.

Requirements:

• Current RN license for the state of practice.
• Current Health Certificate (per facility or state regulation).
• Current PPD or Chest X-Ray.
• Current BLS certification.
• One year of RN experience preferred.
