Maxim Healthcare is hiring a Registered Nurse to provide care to pediatric and/or adult patients in clients' homes in the Richmond, VA area. Starting pay ranges from $38 to $42.50 per hour, with pay negotiable based on experience and skill level.

Responsibilities include planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care, initiating a care plan, administering medications, and coordinating discharge planning as applicable.

Formación

• Current RN license for the state where practice occurs.
• Current BLS certification.
• Current health certificate as per contract or state regulation.
• Current PPD or Chest X-Ray.
• One year RN experience preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Utilizes the nursing process to plan, implement, and evaluate patient care provided to clients in home settings.
• Initiates the plan of care when directed and requests revisions as patient needs change.
• Implements therapeutic, preventive, and rehabilitative nursing actions based on diagnosis and goals.
• Intervenes in response to changes in patient condition and reports changes to physician or supervisor.
• Administers medications and treatments as prescribed and documents effectiveness.
• Reviews plan of care and identifies education, coordination, and discharge planning needs.

Starting pay range is $38-$42.50 an hour, pay rate is negotiable and based on experience / skill level.

Maxim Healthcare out of Richmond VA, is hiring for a Registered Nurse to work with Pediatric and/or Adult patients in their own homes.

Responsibilities:

• Utilizes the nursing process to plan, implement, and evaluate patient/client care and/or services provided to client(s) receiving contracted services, as required
• Initiates the plan of care when directed and requests from prescriber any necessary revisions as patient status and needs change
• Incorporates therapeutic, preventive, and rehabilitative nursing actions based on patient diagnosis and established goals
• Intervenes as applicable in response to changes in patient/client condition and reports such changes to appropriate physician or supervisor
• Administers medications and treatments as prescribed, as well as, monitors and documents effectiveness of intervention
• Reviews plan of care and program protocols and identifies areas for healthcare teaching/education, care coordination, goal setting and discharge planning needs, as applicable

Requirements:

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) License for the state in which the nurse practices.
• Current Health Certificate (per facility Registered Nurse (RN) contract or state regulation).
• Current PPD or Chest X-Ray.
• Current BLS card.
• One year prior Registered Nurse (RN) experience preferred.
