Maxim Healthcare is hiring in Pocahontas, Iowa for a Registered Nurse to work with a Pediatric patient in their own homes.

Available shift: Full Time Days

Pay: $38 / hour

Responsibilities:

• Utilize the nursing process to plan, implement, and evaluate patient/client care and/or services provided to clients receiving contracted services, as required.
• Initiate the care plan when directed and request revisions from the prescriber as patient needs change.
• Incorporate therapeutic, preventive, and rehabilitative nursing actions based on patient diagnosis and established goals.
• Respond to changes in patient condition and report such changes to the physician or supervisor.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, monitor their effectiveness, and document outcomes.
• Review care plans and protocols to identify education, care coordination, goal setting, and discharge planning needs.

Requirements:

• Current RN license for the practicing state.
• Current Health Certificate (per facility or state regulation).
• Current PPD test or Chest X-Ray.
• Current BLS certification.
• One year of RN experience preferred.
