Maxim Healthcare is hiring in Pocahontas, Iowa for a Registered Nurse to work with a Pediatric patient in their own homes.

Available shift: Full Time Days

Pay: $38 / hour

Responsibilities:

• Utilizes the nursing process to plan, implement, and evaluate patient care and services provided to clients receiving contracted services
• Initiates and revises the plan of care as needed, based on patient status and prescriber instructions
• Incorporates therapeutic, preventive, and rehabilitative nursing actions based on diagnosis and goals
• Responds to changes in patient condition and reports to appropriate physician or supervisor
• Administers medications and treatments, monitors, and documents effectiveness
• Reviews care plans and protocols to identify education, care coordination, and discharge planning needs

Requirements:

• Current RN license for the state of practice
• Current Health Certificate (per facility or state regulation)
• Current PPD or Chest X-Ray
• Current BLS card
• One year RN experience preferred
