Job Opportunity: Registered Nurse

Maxim Healthcare in Tri-Cities, TN is hiring a Registered Nurse to work with Pediatric and/or Adult patients in their own homes.

Salary: $40 - $45 per hour (Nights), $28 - $37 per hour (Days)

Responsibilities:

1. Utilize the nursing process to plan, implement, and evaluate patient/client care and/or services provided to clients receiving contracted services.
2. Initiate the plan of care as directed and request revisions from prescribers as patient needs change.
3. Incorporate therapeutic, preventive, and rehabilitative nursing actions based on patient diagnosis and goals.
4. Respond to changes in patient condition and report to appropriate physicians or supervisors.
5. Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, and monitor and document their effectiveness.
6. Review care plans and protocols, and identify areas for education, care coordination, goal setting, and discharge planning.

Requirements:

• Current RN License for the practicing state.
• Current Health Certificate (per facility or state regulation).
• Current PPD or Chest X-Ray.
• Current BLS certification.
• One year RN experience preferred.
