Job summary

Maxim Healthcare in Asheville is hiring for a Registered Nurse (RN) to work with our patients in their own homes. The position offers hourly pay of $30 - $34 and a comprehensive benefits package.

You will provide skilled nursing care in patients' homes, using the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care. Eligible candidates hold an active LPN/LVN license and current BLS, TB tests or chest X-rays, and ideally have one year of professional nursing experience.

Qualifications

• Active LPN/LVN license in the state of practice.
• Current TB or Chest X‑ray.
• Current BLS certification.
• One year of nursing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Utilize the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
• Provide skilled nursing care/services per prescribed orders on each assignment.
• Assess signs and symptoms indicating physiologic and psychosocial changes in the patient's condition.
• Collect, analyze, and document health data and nursing diagnoses.

Responsibilities:

• Utilize the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.

Qualifications:

• Currently licensed as an LPN/LVN in the state in which the LPN will practice.
