Job summary

Maxim Healthcare in Asheville is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to provide in-home patient care in the Asheville, NC area. The role features hourly pay of $30–$34 with weekly paychecks and a comprehensive benefits package.

Responsibilities include applying the nursing process to assess and meet patient needs, delivering prescribed nursing services, and documenting care outcomes. LPN/LVN license, TB test or chest X-ray, and BLS are required.

Qualifications

• Must be licensed as an LPN/LVN in the practicing state.
• Current TB test or Chest X-ray required.
• Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification.
• One year of professional nursing experience preferred.

• Utilize the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
• On each assignment, provides skilled nursing care/services per orders.
• Assess signs and symptoms indicating physiologic and psychosocial changes in the patient's condition.
• Collect, analyze, and interpret data from health care members and document nursing diagnoses.

Responsibilities:

• Utilize the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
