Job summary

Maxim Healthcare Services, Inc. in Columbia, MO is hiring a Registered Nurse (RN) to work with pediatric and/or adult patients in their homes. Full Time, Part Time, and PRN roles are available. The position emphasizes skilled nursing care in patients' homes, using the nursing process to assess and respond to changing health conditions, with emphasis on safe care delivery and documentation.

Qualifications

• Currently licensed as an RN in the state where the RN will practice.
• Current TB test or Chest X-Ray is required.
• Current BLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Utilize the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
• Provide skilled nursing care/services in accordance with prescribed orders on each assignment.
• Assess signs and symptoms indicating physiologic and psychosocial changes in the patient’s condition.
• Collect, analyze, and interpret data from health care members and document nursing diagnoses.
