Job summary

Abbott is seeking a per-diem RN trainer for Idaho Falls to provide Face‑2‑Face training to home test customers on finger stick sampling, operating PT/INR devices, and reporting responsibilities. Travel to customer homes within a defined geographic area is required.

This role requires current RN licensure, clinical experience, and comfort with homecare training. The position emphasizes professionalism, timely documentation, and secure communication of patient information; travel ~100 miles round

Qualifications

• The Trainer must have clinical experience.
• Current Registered Nurse (RN).
• Direct experience with anticoagulation management or homecare is preferred.
• Health education training experience is a definite plus.

Responsibilities

• Remotely set up training appointments with customers/caregivers.
• Travel to customers' homes within the trainer's general geographic area.
• Demonstrate and instruct proper use of PT/INR equipment.
• Explain test reporting options to customers.
• Maintain professional appearance and conduct.
• Document and submit patient training records electronically.
• Communicate with Acelis Connected Health via secure channels.
• Ensure reliable transportation is available.
