Job summary

Maxim Healthcare in Phoenix is seeking an RN to support pediatric and/or adult patients in their homes, with patient coverage in Chandler, Mesa, Tempe, Scottsdale and East Valley areas. Hourly pay ranges from $38 to $40 per hour, with competitive benefits and weekly paychecks.

The role emphasizes direct patient care, nursing assessments, care planning, and collaboration with physicians and care teams to ensure high-quality, individualized home health services.

Qualifications

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) License for the state in which the nurse practices.
• Current Health Certificate (per facility RN contract or state regulation).
• Current PPD or Chest X-Ray.
• Current BLS card.

Responsibilities

• Utilizes the nursing process to plan, implement, and evaluate patient care and services.
• Initiates the plan of care when directed and requests revisions as patient needs change.
• Incorporates therapeutic, preventive, and rehabilitative nursing actions based on diagnosis and goals.
• Intervenes as applicable in response to changes in patient condition and reports to physician or supervisor.
• Administers medications and treatments as prescribed and monitors effectiveness.
• Reviews plans of care and identifies education, coordination, and discharge planning needs.

Maxim Healthcare in Phoenix is hiring for a Registered Nurse to work with Pediatric and/or Adult patients in their own homes. We have patients in Chandler/Mesa/Tempe/Scottsdale and other locations in the East Valley.

Responsibilities

• Utilizes the nursing process to plan, implement, and evaluate patient/client care and/or services provided to client(s) receiving contracted services, as required
• Initiates the plan of care when directed and requests from prescriber any necessary revisions as patient status and needs change
• Incorporates therapeutic, preventive, and rehabilitative nursing actions based on patient diagnosis and established goals
• Intervenes as applicable in response to changes in patient/client condition and reports such changes to appropriate physician or supervisor
• Administers medications and treatments as prescribed, as well as, monitors and documents effectiveness of intervention
• Reviews plan of care and program protocols and identifies areas for healthcare teaching/education, care coordination, goal setting and discharge planning needs, as applicable

Requirements

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) License for the state in which the nurse practices.
• Current Health Certificate (per facility Registered Nurse (RN) contract or state regulation).
• Current PPD or Chest X-Ray.
• Current BLS card.
• One year prior Registered Nurse (RN) experience preferred.
