Job summary

CareRing Health in Maryland seeks an experienced Registered Nurse to perform comprehensive home assessments for admission and ongoing service, ensuring client needs and outcomes are met. You will assess client, caregiver, and home environments, including OASIS where appropriate.

The role includes admissions, weekend on-call, and delivering nursing care via physician-approved care plans in clients' homes, with CPR certification and strong communication essential.

Qualifications

• Holds a current RN license and is a graduate of an approved school of nursing.
• Minimum of two years' acute-care experience with comprehensive assessments.
• Current CPR certification.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills; strong human relations.
• Ability to function with minimal supervision and manage multiple priorities using critical thinking.

Responsibilities

• Accepts client admissions as assigned by Agency and weekend on-call assignments.
• Provides comprehensive nursing care through home assessment, nursing diagnoses, and physician-approved care plans.
• Performs treatments requiring specialized skills ordered by the physician.
• Observes signs and reports them to the VP of Clinical Services / Director of Professional Services and/or physician as appropriate.
• Notes changes in physical or emotional status of clients.
• Assesses nutritional needs and diet of clients as ordered by physician.
• Educated patients families on medication and procedures.
