Job summary

Medical Services of America, through its Community Home Health Services, is seeking a Full-Time Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Fort Lauderdale home health team. You will provide one-on-one skilled nursing care in patients' homes under the Director of Professional Services, focusing on independence and quality of life.

Requirements include Florida RN licensure and at least 1 year of nursing experience, preferably in home health.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited nursing program.
• Active Registered Nurse license in Florida.
• At least 1 year of clinical nursing experience (Home Health preferred).

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one skilled nursing care to home health patients.
• Perform initial assessments and develop care plans with physicians.
• Monitor, evaluate and document patient progress; adjust plans as needed.
• Deliver education and support to patients and families for at-home care.
• Ensure care aligns with agency policies, guidelines, and physician orders.
• Participate in rotating on-call responsibilities for continuity of care.

Hourly Range: $38.00– $42.00

We’re currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Full-Time Registered Nurse (RN) to join our growing team and provide skilled, patient-centered care to individuals in the Fort Lauderdale area.

As a Home Health RN, you’ll be a trusted guide in a patient’s recovery journey—offering support, clinical expertise, and compassionate care in the comfort of their home. Working under the direction of the Director of Professional Services, you'll help patients regain independence and improve their quality of life while avoiding unnecessary hospital visits.

What You’ll Do:

• Provide one-on-one skilled nursing care to home health patients.
• Perform comprehensive initial assessments and develop individualized care plans in coordination with physicians.
• Monitor, evaluate, and document patient progress and adjust care plans as needed.
• Deliver education and support to patients and families to empower them in managing care at home.
• Ensure all care provided aligns with agency policies, clinical guidelines, and physician orders.
• Participate in rotating on-call responsibilities to ensure continuity of care.

What You Bring:

• Completion of an accredited nursing program.
• Active Registered Nurse license in the state of Florida.
• At least 1 year of clinical nursing experience (Home Health experience strongly preferred).
• A strong sense of independence and a commitment to patient-centered care.
• Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license.
