Job summary

Mercy is seeking an in-home Registered Nurse to provide patient-centered home health care, perform assessments and treatments, educate patients, and document using Epic. The role is per diem, with opportunities for part-time or full-time day shifts in the local area.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited nursing program.
• Current MO RN license.

Position Overview

Provides in-home patient care including case management, assessments, recertifications, discharges, patient teaching, dressing changes, IV therapy, access site care, and other skilled nursing duties according to policies.

Ensures safety and appropriate care by assisting with needs like lifeline, meals on wheels, and public program instructions. Maintains accurate documentation using the Epic system.

Operates on a per diem basis, performing visits as needed, aligned with department policies and standards.

Qualifications & Skills

• Valid driver's license and auto insurance proof
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association
