Job summary

IntelliResume is seeking an RN Home Care Float to provide high-quality nursing care to patients in their homes across eastern Cuyahoga County, Lake, and Geauga Counties. This is a full-time position at Cleveland Clinic where you will enjoy autonomy and build meaningful relationships with patients.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor’s of Science in Nursing (BSN) and at least one year of experience in either an acute medical/surgical or homecare setting, along with the required RN licensure and BLS certification.

Qualifications

• Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) is required.
• One year of current clinical experience as an RN is required.
• One year of experience in an acute medical/surgical or homecare setting.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care in accordance with established policies and procedures.
• Participate in and support quality improvement projects.
• Supervise starts of care, resumptions of care, and routine visits.
• Perform accurate admission assessments and reassessments.
• Assess patients for safety risks, abuse, and neglect.

About This Role

The RN Home Care Float position at Cleveland Clinic involves providing high-quality nursing care to patients in their homes across eastern Cuyahoga County, Lake, and Geauga Counties. This role is ideal for nurses who enjoy autonomy and building meaningful relationships with patients in a familiar setting.

Highlights

• Pay: $35.50 - $55.60/hour
• Location: Independence, OH
• Facility: Cleveland Clinic
• Schedule: Full-time, Day shift

What You’ll Do

• Provide direct nursing care in accordance with established policies and procedures.
• Participate in and support quality improvement projects.
• Supervise starts of care, resumptions of care, and routine visits as requested.
• Perform accurate and complete admission assessments and reassessments.
• Assess patients for safety risks, abuse, and neglect.
• Serve as a primary coordinator of all disciplines for well‑coordinated patient care.
• Assess and document patients’ pain using appropriate pain scale and manage pain.
• Prioritize and document patient problems based on assessed needs.
• Maintain complete and up‑to‑date documentation regarding patient condition and care.
• Escalate changes in patient condition to the physician as appropriate.

Requirements

Education

• Graduate from an accredited School of Professional Nursing
• Bachelor’s of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred

Experience

• One year of current clinical experience as an RN
• One year of experience in an acute medical/surgical or homecare settingli>

Licenses & Certifications

• Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN)
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through AHA or American Red Cross
• Valid Driver’s License (VDL) and proof of automobile insurance coverage
