Job summary

Evans Memorial Hospital in Claxton, GA is seeking a licensed professional nurse to provide direct and indirect patient care across adolescent to geriatric populations. Under supervision of Department Director and CNO, you will coordinate care with physicians and the healthcare team.

You will administer medications, follow the nursing process, participate in admission/discharge planning, and adhere to infection control and confidentiality standards.

Qualifications

• Graduate from accredited nursing program.
• Current GA RN license.
• BCLS certification.
• ACLS certification within 1 year of hire.
• PALS certification within 1 year of hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct and indirect patient care for adolescent to geriatric patients.
• Communicate with physicians about changes in patient condition and test results.
• Respond quickly and accurately to changes in condition or treatment response.
• Administer medications and treatments per policies and procedures.
• Follow infection control practices including hand hygiene and PPE.

Education

Nursing degree from accredited school

Georgia RN license

BCLS certification

ACLS within 1 year

PALS within 1 year
