Job summary

Grady Health System in Atlanta, GA seeks a Registered Nurse to provide age-appropriate, culturally sensitive care and to coordinate patient care across settings. The role includes patient education, effective communication, and leadership within the care team.

The RN will utilize the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care, ensuring safety and quality in every interaction. BSN preferred; GA RN license required.

Qualifications

• Associate Degree in Nursing required; BSN strongly preferred.
• Two years experience as a circulating scrub RN required.
• Current Georgia license as a Registered Professional Nurse required.
• Current American Heart Association (AHA) BLS for health care providers required; ACLS required for all areas; new graduates must obtain within 90 days of employment.

Responsibilities

• Provide age-appropriate, culturally and ethnically sensitive nursing care.
• Coordinate care across settings and among caregivers.
• Educate patients and families about health practices and treatment modalities.
• Utilize the nursing process to plan and deliver care and evaluate outcomes.
