Eisenhower Health in Rancho Mirage, CA seeks a Registered Nurse to join the Cancer Care Program, delivering patient- and family-centered care for Hematology/Oncology patients. You will collaborate with an inter-professional team to develop, execute, and evaluate the plan of care, focusing on care coordination and discharge planning across settings.

Requirements include a BSN or MSN, California RN licensure and BLS, and Oncology certification within 3 years.

Job Objective

• Works collaboratively as an active member of the inter-professional team to provide therapeutic patient and family centered care in the Hematology/Oncology patient population in the Cancer Care Program. Collaborates in the development, execution and evaluation of the multidisciplinary plan of care. Establishes goals and strategies for meeting the care coordination, discharge, and/or continuing care needs across settings with the patient, family, and/or other care providers.

Qualifications

Education

• Required: Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or Master’s degree in Nursing

Licensure/Certification

• Required: California RN licensure; Oncology Certified Nurse within three (3) years of hire if assigned to Hematology Oncology department (CC7651); American Heart Association BLS

Experience

• Required: Five (5) years of direct patient care experience in Oncology nursing

A $10,000 sign-on bonus is available for full-time RN positions. Part-time RN roles are eligible for a prorated bonus. The bonus is paid in installments of $2,500 with the first paycheck, $2,500 at one year, and $5,000 at two years. Employees must be in a part-time or full-time status at the time of the second and final bonus payments. Offer valid for external new hires only. Additional restrictions may apply.
