Job summary

Cleveland Clinic is seeking a Registered Nurse for the HVTI Stepdown Float Pool at the Main Campus Hospital in Cleveland, OH. You will care for a diverse cardiac, vascular and thoracic patient population across multiple stepdown units.

This full-time role offers a variable schedule and pays $36-$56 per hour. You will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to implement and revise care plans, monitor patient progress, and educate patients and their families.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited school of professional nursing (Diploma, ADN or BSN).
• At least one year of current acute care RN experience.
• Current state RN license.
• BLS certification required; ACLS preferred for Critical Care areas.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care.
• Implement, monitor, evaluate, update and revise patient care plans.
• Monitor, record, document and communicate patients’ conditions.
• Administer prescribed medications and treatments.
• Note and carry out physician and nursing orders.
• Assess and coordinate patients’ discharge needs.
• Educate patients and their families.

• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) preferred for Critical Care areas
