This remote position involves significant travel and responsibilities such as conducting surveys to ensure compliance with healthcare regulations. Qualifications

• Must have successfully completed CMS’s Long-Term Care Basic Training and passed the Surveyor Minimum Qualifications Test (SMQT).
• At least two (2) years of recent experience as a surveyor accrediting or certifying facilities.
• Must maintain current licensure to practice as a Registered Nurse (RN).

Responsibilities

• Conduct on-site surveys of healthcare facilities to determine compliance with regulations.
• Evaluate the quality of care and consumers’ rights at facilities.
• Communicate non-compliance issues with key personnel.
