Impact Recruiting Solutions is seeking an RN Health Care Facility Surveyor to join a Quality Improvement Consulting Company. The role offers a dynamic environment supporting internal and external clients nationwide.

Responsibilities of the RN Health Care Facility Surveyor:

This is a remote position with up to 75% travel. The Surveyor will participate as a team member or leader in various surveys (re-certification, comparative, complaint investigation, revisits) across diverse healthcare settings including long-term care, ambulatory surgical centers (ASC), ICFs/IID, ESRD, PRTF, hospitals, critical access hospitals, and hospices. The role involves assessing compliance with federal healthcare regulations through on-site surveys, which include:

• Preparing for and conducting onsite surveys to evaluate compliance with Medicare-Medicaid standards.
• Performing facility tours, care observations, record reviews, and staff/family interviews.
• Assessing quality of care, patient rights, and physical environment.
• Communicating deficiencies during reviews and exit conferences.
• Determining acceptability of corrective action plans.
• Following up on corrective actions through subsequent surveys.
• Supporting facility and bureau training initiatives and participating in work groups.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Associate or Bachelor’s degree in nursing.
• Completion of CMS’s Long-Term Care Basic Training and passing the SMQT exam.
• At least two years of recent surveyor experience in long-term care facilities.
• Current RN licensure.
• Proven decision-making and survey management skills.
• Ability to prioritize independently and collaboratively.
• Strong communication skills, including conflict resolution.
• Willingness to travel up to 75% regularly is required.

Compensation and Benefits:

• Salary range: $75,000 - $90,000 annually.
