Job summary

Wentworth-Douglass Hospital in Dover, NH is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to interpret care plans and provide safe, individualized nursing care. You will administer medications, record vital signs, monitor patients, and coordinate with the healthcare team to adjust treatment plans as needed.

Onsite position with a 36-hour week at 789 Central Avenue. Requirements include an Associate's Degree in Nursing (Bachelor's preferred), RN license, 2–4 years of clinical nursing, with oncology

Job Summary

Salary range: $37.81 - $67.87

This position comes with a $5,000 Sign on Bonus for nurses with 2 or more years of experience.

Summary

Accountable for interpreting the plan of medical care, assessment of patients' clinical decision-making regarding nursing care, assuring nursing care is provided in a safe and competent manner, providing individualized nursing care, and evaluating nursing care for groups of patients.

Essential Functions

Maintain accurate, detailed reports, and records.

Administer medications to patients and monitor patients for reactions or side effects.

Record patients' medical information and vital signs.

Monitor, record, and report symptoms or changes in patients' conditions.

Consult and coordinate with healthcare team members to assess, plan, implement, or evaluate patient care plans.

Modify patient treatment plans as indicated by patients' responses and conditions.

Associate's Degree Nursing Required Or Bachelor's Degree Nursing Preferred

Registered Nurse [RN - State License] - Generic - HR Only required Basic Life Support [BLS Certification]

Experience

Clinical nursing experience 2-4 year required; Oncology experience 1 or more required.

  • Familiarity with the principles and skills needed for practical nursing to provide patient care and treatment.
  • Knowledgeable of the care required by respective age groups for which care is being provided.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and secure sensitive information.

  • Ability to accurately screen and triage acute patients.
