Job summary

Genesis HealthCare in Huntington, West Virginia, is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to deliver high-quality nursing care in a long-term care setting. Under the direction of the Nurse Supervisor and Unit Manager, you will assess patients, develop care plans, and coordinate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure optimal outcomes.

You will lead direct care, document thoroughly in PCC, and mentor CNAs and LPNs while complying with state regulations and HIPAA standards.

Qualifications

• RN degree and active license in the state
• BLS/CPR certification current
• Experience in long-term/post-acute/geriatric care preferred
• English proficiency for clear documentation
• Health screenings per state guidelines

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality nursing care to achieve positive outcomes
• Develop and manage individualized care plans
• Supervise and delegate to LPNs and CNAs
• Collaborate with physicians and families for discharge planning
