Presbyterian Healthcare Services in Albuquerque, NM is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to join the GI Lab, providing nursing care for GI and endoscopic procedures from pre-assessment through recovery.

The role collaborates with physicians, anesthesia, and the care team to ensure patient safety, education, and smooth throughput while delivering exceptional patient experiences.

Qualifications

• Associates Degree in Nursing required.
• State of New Mexico or Compact State Nursing License required.
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care during GI and endoscopic procedures.
• Perform pre-procedure assessments and ensure patient readiness.
• Monitor patients during procedures and recovery.
• Administer medications and treatments per physician orders and protocols.
• Assess and respond to changes in patient condition.
• Educate patients and families about procedures, recovery expectations, and discharge instructions.
• Collaborate with physicians, anesthesia providers, and clinical team members to optimize outcomes.
• Maintain accurate documentation in the EMR.
• Support quality, safety, infection prevention, and regulatory initiatives.
• Assist with procedural flow and patient throughput for exceptional experiences.

Compensation Pay Range: Minimum Offer $39.69 Maximum Offer $58.17

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Gastrointestinal (GI) Lab and support patients undergoing diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopic procedures.

As a GI Lab RN, you will collaborate with physicians, anesthesia providers, technicians, and interdisciplinary team members to deliver safe, high-quality care throughout the patient journey, from pre-procedure assessment through recovery and discharge.

Qualifications:
