Job summary

ARMStaffing is seeking an Outpatient Gastrointestinal Lab Registered Nurse for a Monday to Friday, 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM schedule in Greenville, SC. The role focuses on preoperative and postoperative nursing care in a fast-paced outpatient GI setting, ensuring patient safety and comfort throughout the care continuum.

The ideal candidate has 2+ years of GI lab experience, current RN license, and BLS/ACLS certifications, with proficiency in Epic EMR.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of GI lab experience or similar procedure setting.
• Current RN license; BLS and ACLS certifications required.
• Experience with Epic EMR required.

Job Description

The Outpatient GI Lab Registered Nurse will provide comprehensive nursing care in a fast-paced outpatient setting. The nurse will be responsible for preoperative and postoperative care for patients undergoing gastrointestinal procedures.

Responsibilities

• Assist and monitor patients during gastrointestinal procedures.
• Provide preoperative assessments and patient education.
• Conduct postoperative evaluations and manage care in the recovery area.
• Administer medications and ensure patient safety throughout the care continuum.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a GI lab or similar procedure setting.
• BLS and ACLS certifications are required.
• Experience with Epic EMR is required.
• Must possess a current Registered Nurse license.
