Job summary

Providence Healthcare of Thomaston is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to work in both short term rehabilitation and long-term care settings. The RN will develop and implement individualized care plans under the supervision of the Director of Nursing and may assume leadership responsibilities as needed.

The ideal candidate will hold an active RN license in Georgia, possess strong assessment skills, and have experience in geriatric or rehabilitative nursing with supervisory capabilities.

Qualifications

• Must have a current Registered Nurse License issued in the state where the person will practice.
• Possess physical assessment skills and comprehensive knowledge of nursing principles.
• Experience in geriatric or rehabilitative nursing and supervisory experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement individualized Nursing Care Plans.
• Assist in orientation and supervision of Nursing personnel.
• Oversee daily operations of the unit per shift and provide leadership as needed.
