Job summary

Providence Healthcare of Thomaston is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse to provide care across short-term rehabilitation and long-term care units. The LPN will work with the Unit Director to develop and implement individualized nursing care plans, supervise nursing staff, and help manage daily unit operations per shift.

The ideal candidate is a graduate of an approved practical nursing program, currently licensed in Georgia, with preferred experience in geriatric or rehabilitative settings.

Qualifications

Must be a graduate of an approved school for Practical or Vocational Nursing and currently licensed by the State Board of Nursing.
Experience preferred in geriatric or rehabilitative nursing.

Responsibilities

Assist in orientation and supervision of nursing personnel.
Attend to daily operations of the unit per shift and assume leadership responsibilities as needed.
