Job summary

Cape Heritage Rehabilitation & Health Care Center in Sandwich, MA is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to provide direct nursing care and supervise nursing assistants, ensuring high-quality resident care.

The role offers a sign-on bonus up to $5,000, weekly pay between $45 and $51 per hour, with evenings, overnights, and weekend differentials. 32 hours on 11p-7a and 24 hours on 3p-11p; per diem available.

Qualifications

• Must possess a Nursing Degree from an accredited school of nursing or college.
• CPR certification is required.
• Must hold a current and active RN license in Massachusetts, or be in the process of obtaining one.

Responsibilities

• Meet the nursing and rehabilitation needs of each resident.
• Maintain current resident care plans for all residents under care.
• Follow physician's orders and provide complete nursing care, treatments, and dressings.
• Transcribe physician's orders promptly and accurately.
• Review patient records daily for accuracy and completeness.
• Document comprehensive nursing notes and visit residents daily to assess needs.
• Maintain accurate awareness of residents on alert list and report findings.
• Administer medications according to procedure and manage drug safety.
• Initiate emergency procedures when necessary.
• Ensure privacy practices and protect residents' health information.
