Job summary

Cape Heritage Rehabilitation & Health Care Center in Sandwich, MA is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to provide direct nursing care to residents and supervise nursing assistants to ensure high‑quality care.

This role offers a sign‑on bonus up to $5,000 with weekly pay on all shifts. Evening, overnight, and weekend shifts include pay differentials, and 32 hours on 11p-7a plus 24 hours on 3p-11p are available, with per diem on all shifts.

Qualifications

• Must possess a Nursing Degree from an accredited school of nursing.
• CPR certification required.
• Must have a current and active RN license in Massachusetts or be in progress/new graduate.

Responsibilities

• Meet the nursing and rehabilitation needs of each resident.
• Maintain current resident care plans for all residents under your care.
• Follow physician orders and render nursing care, treatments, and dressings.
• Transcribe physician orders promptly and accurately.
• Review patient records daily for accuracy and completeness.
• Document comprehensive nursing notes.
• Visit residents daily to evaluate needs.
• Maintain awareness of residents on alert list.
• Document and report unusual findings; contact physician when necessary.
• Administer medications according to procedure.
• Maintain safe control of all drugs under your responsibility.
• Initiate emergency procedures as necessary.
• Comply with privacy policies and protect health information.
• Perform other duties as assigned by Director of Nursing and management.
