Qualifications

• Must possess a nursing degree from an accredited college or university.
• Must possess an active RN license in this state; BSN preferred.
• Must maintain and have an active CPR/BLS during employment.
• Prefer experience in long term care, geriatric rehab, sub-acute and or critical care clinical setting.
• Experience in electronic medical records documentation.

Responsibilities

• Assess residents and develop care plans with the interdisciplinary team.
• Administer medications and monitor responses.
• Monitor vital signs and health status; report concerns.
• Supervise LPNs and CNAs; provide staff orientation.
• Document care and communicate with residents, families, and staff.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives.
• Stay current with nursing best practices.
