Job summary

Avamere Rehabilitation at Ridgemont is seeking a Director of Nursing Services to lead the nursing department and guide quality of resident care. You will supervise nursing services, ensure regulatory compliance, and develop standards of nursing practice in a collaborative environment at the Ridgemont facility in Port Orchard, WA.

The role requires a registered nursing degree, active RN license, CPR/BLS, and at least one year in a supervisory healthcare position.

Qualifications

• Must have a nursing degree from an accredited college or university.
• Must hold an active RN license in this state; BSN preferred.
• Must maintain CPR/BLS during employment.
• Must be able to take after-hours emergency calls, including nights and weekends.
• Minimum 1 year of supervisor experience in healthcare.

Responsibilities

• Plan and direct the nursing department and related programs to ensure quality of care.
• Implement and monitor a quality assurance program and KPI goals.
• Provide reports to the Administrator on nursing operations as needed.
• Coordinate nursing with other resident services for continuity of care.
• Ensure compliance with policies and evidence-based practice.
• Perform staff evaluations and manage nursing competencies and reports.
