Job summary

Wellstar MCG Health Medical Center in Augusta, GA is seeking an ICU RN for a 13-week contract. You’ll work 12-hour nights delivering high-acuity care with continuous monitoring and ventilator management.

Requires active GA or multi-state RN license, ACLS, BLS, and EPIC experience with 1 year ICU experience. Travel pay available; start ASAP; weekly pay and supportive staffing offered.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-acuity care with continuous vital sign monitoring.

• Document thoroughly and coordinate with physicians and team.

• REQUIREMENTS
• Minimum 1 year of ICU RN experience
• License: Active GA or Multi-State RN License
• Certifications: ACLS, BLS (AHA or ARC)
• EPIC experience
• Preferred Experience: Hemodynamic monitoring, vasopressor management, ventilator knowledge, CRRT
• Ideal Candidate: can complete a 13-week contract assignment. Can work 12-hr shifts. Has direct patient care experience. Can pass dysrhythmia test.
• WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING:Wellstar ICU RNs deliver critical, high-acuity care to seriously ill patients, requiring advanced clinical judgment and rapid response to changing conditions. Daily duties include continuous monitoring of vital signs and hemodynamic status, administering and titrating medications (including vasoactive drugs), managing mechanical ventilation, and performing complex interventions such as wound care and invasive line management. ICU RNs collaborate closely with physicians and the care team, maintain thorough documentation, and provide compassionate support to patients and families during critical or end-of-life situations.
