Job summary

Wellstar MCG Health Medical Center in Augusta, GA is seeking a registered nurse for an acute care float role. The position supports days and nights with 12-hour shifts and a 13-week contract. The ideal candidate has 3+ years in Med Surg/Acute Care, GA or multi-state RN licensure, ACLS/BLS, and EPIC experience.

Starting ASAP, W-2 employment with weekly pay. Local pay rate listed; travel pay also offered. Must be comfortable floating and passing a dysrhythmia test.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of Med Surg/Acute Care RN experience.
• Active GA or Multi-State RN license.
• ACLS and BLS certifications (AHA or ARC).
• EPIC experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care during 12-hour shifts.
• Float across units as required.
• Maintain composure under pressure and demonstrate strong time management.
• Complete a 13-week contract assignment.

• Travel Pay Rate: $32/hr. + $1,246 weekly stipend
• AM Schedule Options: 3 x 12hr shifts

• ACUTE CARE FLOAT RN REQUIREMENTS:

• Preferred Experience: Epic, along with strong interpersonal skills, composure under pressure, and solid critical thinking and time management.
• Ideal Candidate: can complete a 13-week contract assignment. Can work 12-hr shifts. Has direct patient care experience. Can pass dysrhythmia test. Must be okay with floating.
